CaseStor® HSS Hypothermic Storage Solution is a specialized preservation solution designed to maintain the viability, integrity, and functional potential of cells and tissues during hypothermic storage. Optimized for use at 2–8°C, CaseStor HSS minimizes cellular stress associated with low-temperature handling and transport, supporting consistent outcomes across a range of sensitive biological materials.
CaseStor HSS has been shown to support improved post-storage expansion of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), T cells, and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), indicating preservation of long-term cellular health beyond immediate viability. The solution is suitable for storage and transport of cells and tissues—including hair grafts—where control, consistency, and biological integrity are critical.
Following hypothermic storage, samples preserved in CaseStor HSS can be seamlessly transitioned to pre-warmed culture media (20–37°C) or prepared directly for downstream research, manufacturing, or therapeutic workflows.
