CaseBioscience is addressing the challenges of cryopreservation in cell therapy workflows. Our novel formulations are versatile, safer and more effective than traditional solutions and can offer an alternative that can save time and money in banking stem cells and more differentiated cell types that are crucial in cell therapies for various indications. In particular, we will highlight our recent advances in formulations that are DMSO-free and perform at even a higher level than DMSO containing solutions. Given the issues with cellular and in vivo toxicity, it is essential that DMSO-free cryopreservation solutions become more widely available for pre-clinical and clinical studies. Our solutions are completely animal-free and made according to cGMP standards in our ISO 13485:2016 facility. Our solutions are simple to use in any cell culture workflow and do not require specialized equipment or extensive training. We hope that our work and collaborations in banking stem cells and other cellular products will save time and cost, ultimately contributing to the democratization of cell therapies.
